About me

Hi welcome to my blog!

Let me introduce myself. I’m Caroline, a 24 year old. I’ll give you a little back story so you can catch up on my journey. The baby I am holding is my adorable niece.

2012…

I started this blog just as I was starting the  GAPS diet to heal my gut. I have always struggled though my childhood with various symptoms and could never connect the dots, until I started eating healthy! Now years have passed since I stopped the GAPS diet, but I still love to cook, research and and share everything I learn in hopes of helping someone else.

During the hard times…

When I was at my worst, I was developing severe chemical, environmental, and food sensitivities, so every day was opportunity to learn something new… but it was also a time of trial and error and picking myself back up. I had to reduce activities and too much stimulation. During this time I researched a lot, but in the end, I learned that nothing matters more then my faith in God, because without Him, we are nothing.

I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:5

I am passionate about sharing about my non-toxic life style because my goal is to help others heal and regain clarity so you too can enjoy life!

What happened in 2016…

I moved to Boulder, Colorado as an adventure because it was time to break free and try something new. I was a nanny (what is my dream job!) and began to figure out the twists and turns of adult life. I started my training to be a Catholic Doula (which I am loving!) through Catholic Doula Program!

2017…

My health started to become more unstable and I decided to move home for support. I still had a lot of unanswered questions about my health, so I took the plunge and spent several weeks at Mayo clinic. God is very good and is slowly revealing pieces to my puzzle. You can follow my daily adventure on Instagram too!

2018…

Minnesota is my home and I am trained to be a certified colon hydrotherapist through the American Institute of Natural Health. I love learning about the human digestive system and found joy in helping clients.

2019…

After taking some time off to focus on my health and get through my life changing colon surgery, I now am back in school to become a nurse!

I remain strong and believe that my future is in the hands of my Creator. I am thankful for each breath I take and each day that goes by, because I know God loves me.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
